The SMB TCu 380A with Safeload is a single-use copper intrauterine device (IUD) manufactured by SMB Corporation of India. It is indicated for use as contraception for women of childbearing age, including women who have previously given birth or had an abortion. It is also indicated for use as emergency contraception. The SMB TCu 380A with Safeload is not recommended for patients who have a known allergy to copper. This device is safe in all women having no history of pelvic inflammatory disease
