Description
Restasis 0.05% is a sterile, topical ophthalmic emulsion that increases the production of natural tears in eyes affected with chronic dry eye syndrome, or keratoconjunctivitis sicca. The main ingredient, cyclosporine, is a calcineurin inhibitor immunosuppressant that reduces the targeted inflammation. This medication removes the need for other anti-inflammatory drugs or tear plugs.
